Received a call today regarding my washing machine, the manufacturer had arranged for someone from highland appliances to send an engineer. Unfortunately the woman on the phone ‘Linda’ decided that she was an engineer and tried to tell me that my machine had the child lock on, she didn’t know what machine I had but seemed to be full of knowledge!!! She was extremely rude, blunt and didn’t seem helpful in the SLIGHTEST. After a call with the manufacturer who guided me through the issue, there is no child lock on this model and the warning abbreviation did not stand for CHILD LOCK ON. Maybe Linda should stick to answering the phone and stop advising customers about their washing machine problems, also keep your attitude in check when talking to customers. Absolutely terrible experience from this company when the receptionist is a know it all.
